PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in the Impugned rule 5(b) issued in GO.MS.861 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 24.11.1994 issued by the 1st respondent relating to recruitment by transfer from holders of post of Sector Health Nurses and Community Nurses in the Tamilnadu Public Health Subordinate Service and Head Nurse and Nurses in the Tamilnadu Medical Subordinate service and circular dated 31.01.2014 in Na.Ka.57916/MP3/S1/2013 issued by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the case of the petitioner for the existing vacancy of Maternal and Child Health Officer in the 2nd respondent in accordance with law For Petitioner : No appearance For Respondents : Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai Government Advocate [For R1 to R5] Mr.A.R.Nixon [For R6]

When the matter was listed for hearing on 27.06.2022, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 29.06.2022 under the caption "For Dismissal". On 29.06.2022, when the matter was listed, again there is no representation 2/5

on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 01.07.2022 under the caption 'for dismissal'.

2. Even today, i.e. 05.07.2022, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.12783 of 2014 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
