This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.643 of 2021 on the file of first respondent. 1/4

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. This Court has already quashed the proceedings in Crime No.643 of 2021 on the file of first respondent in Crl.O.P.No.4093 of 2022 by order dated 10.07.2023. The reasoning that was given in that order will squarely apply to the petitioner herein also. The continuation of the investigation as against the petitioner will amount to abuse of process of law.

In the light of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.643 of 2021 on the file of first respondent, is quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
