ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr. D.V. Anandasayanam, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant prospective licence for two years and quarrying lease for 20 years in favour of the petitioner in respect of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Government quarry lands measuring 8.00.0 hectares comprised in S.F. No.324 of 02, Samanur, Palacode, Dharmapuri and shown in the sketch annexed with application by considering the petitioner's quarrying lease application dated 20.11.2014 under the Granite Conservation and Development Rules 1999.
2. Heard Mr. S. Sadasharam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. T.N. Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. As the petitioner has sought for only a limited prayer, to consider and dispose of his representation dated 20.11.2014, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the pending representation dated 20.11.2014 of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
