ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for the transfer of the investigation in Crime No.93 of 2023 pending on the file of the respondent Police to some other investigating agency. 1/4

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 05.07.2023, this Court passed the following order:- "

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the RDO has already conducted an enquiry and the respondent Police is awaiting the report of the RDO.

2. Post this case under the same caption on 26/7/23."

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the report of the R.D.O. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the report of the R.D.O will form part of the case diary and that the respondent Police will proceed further with the investigation and complete the investigation within the time frame fixed by this Court and file a Final Report or a Closure Report, as the case may be, before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a Final Report or a Closure Report, as the case may 2/4

be, before the jurisdictional Court within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed off with the above directions.
