2. The petitioner is said to be a Temple represented by its Hereditary Trustee. The petitioner would state that the lands owned by the Temple was acquired for the purpose of constructing overbridge under the provisions of the Tamilnadu High Ways Act, 2001. The petitioner, now seeks enhanced compensation by following procedure under the Act. In this regard, a representation has been given on 17.12.2013.

3.In the light of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2013 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
