PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the first respondent in Order No.01/2022-PER-DTEP2DA23-PER-DG dated 15.07.2022 and quash the same insofar as the petitioner 1/4

is concerned and direct the first respondent to retain the petitioner in the present station itself namely, Chennai till March 2023 so as to proceed on voluntary retirement from service on completion of 20 years of service. ORDER

The order of transfer dated 15.07.2022, transferring the petitioner, who was holding the post of Constable from 077-BN to 090-BN, is put under challenge in this writ petition.

2. It is submitted by both the counsel that pending writ petition, the impugned transfer order has been cancelled and the petitioner has been retained in the same station. As such, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly this writ petition is closed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
