This petition is filed by the petitioner / appellant / claimant seeking to condone the delay of 834 days in preferring the above Appeal.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite serving notice on the R2/Insurance Company and their names printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of them.
3. Having regard to the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavits filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, the delay of 834 days, in filing the above Appeal, is condoned subject to the condition that the petitioner / appellant shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- as cost, in the above appeal to the "Tamil Nadu Legal Services Authority, Chennai" on or before 30.09.2019 and the petitioner / appellant is not entitled to any interest for the default period, in the event of succeeding in the Appeal, in respect of the enhanced compensation amount.
4. This petition is ordered accordingly.
