The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for the post of Technical Assistant on the basis of the employment exchange seniority registered before the 4th respondent office. 2.The petitioner who appeared party in person would submit that the petitioner has completed his Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering during October 2002 and registered the same under the 4th respondent on 22.05.2003. He would further submit that though his name has been sponsored by the 4th respondent for the post of Technical Assistant, he has not been called for apprenticeship training by the 5th respondent. Since his juniors were called for apprenticeship training and appointed as Technical Assistants, he is constrained to file this writ petition.
3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the 4th respondent has filed counter affidavit, wherein, in paragraph No.3, the 4th respondent has stated that as per the notification, the employment exchange sponsored the candidates, who had registered on or before 13.11.1992 and were eligible as per seniority for the post of Technical Assistant in the backward community category. The petitioner's seniority date is registered on 22.05.2003, due to which, his name was not sponsored for the post of Technical Assistant.
4.In the light of the above submission by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this writ petition deserves to be dismissed and is accordingly dismissed. As and when the vacancy arises in future, the name of the petitioner shall be sponsored, if he is otherwise eligible. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
