PRAYER : Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for ploughing and construction of house in the land comprised in Survey No.159/15 measuring to an extent of 0.22.0 acres situated at Pudaiyur Village, Sri Mushnam Taluk, Cuddalore District within time stipulated by this Court, based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2019.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

2. It is seen from the records that there are four cases already pending between the parties in Crime No.264 of 2017, Crime No.96 of 2018, Crime No.104 of 2018 and Crime No.182 of 2018 and in two of the cases investigation has been completed and it is pending proceedings before the competent Court in C.C.No.69 of 2018 and C.C.No.82 of 2019. The present complaint has been given by the petitioner on the ground that the accused persons are again interfering with the property and not allowing the petitioner to plough his land and to construct the house and they are causing threat.

3. The respondent police is directed to call the parties for enquiry and advice the parties not to exert any threat or interfere with the property. If in spite of the same, the threat continues, it is left open to the petitioner to move an appropriate petition before the Court below wherein proceedings are pending and seek for cancellation of bail granted to the accused persons.
