ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for police protection. 2.It is seen from the records that the petitioner is a practicing Advocate. He had appeared in one of the sensational cases and has obtained orders from this Court. Pursuant to the same there has been some threat calls to the petitioner and therefore the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent police seeking for police protection for his life and limb.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent seeking for police protection and the 2nd respondent shall consider the same and shall provide police protection to the petitioner and ensure that the petitioner is not exposed to any threat or danger from any faction.
