ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 427, 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.1743 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioner assaulted the defacto complainant and damaged the vehicle. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioner assaulted the defacto complainant and damaged the vehicle. He would further submit that the petitioner is a history sheeter, having four previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also the fact that the petitioner is a history sheeter, having four previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
