Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition is taken up for hearing.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 11.9.2013 (dealt with in R. No.49437/A3/2013) for the grant of Contract Carriage Omni Bus permit forthwith.
3. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 11.09.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
