Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from issuing FL-2 Bar License to anybody situated at Kangayam-Vellakoil Big Bazaar Road at Vellakoil, Tiruppur District.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioner apprehends that license would be granted for running the bar in the premises nearer to the School and/or residential houses.

3. No permission has yet been granted by the competent authority. The person whom the petitioner apprehends to be granted is not a party. More over, an aggrieved party can raise an objection

before the authority concerned. If the objection of the aggrieved party is not considered and if certain steps are taken for the grant of permission, then, the aggrieved party can agitate in respect of the same.

4. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.18016 of 2023 is closed.
