The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 13.10.2014, in respect of claim for compassionate appointment.
2. Heard Mr.R.Bharanidharan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Varalakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. The application seeking compassionate appointment was filed on 13.10.2014 and the same is yet to be considered. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 13.10.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, no order as to costs.
