Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal APPEAL No.382 OF 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed in C.C.No.2 of 2011 dated 19.06.2017 on the file of the Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Cases, Coimbatore and enlarge the petitioner on bail, pending disposal of the above Criminal Appeal No.382/2018.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.382 of 2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of MR.M.N.BALAKRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mrs.V.SARADHA DEVI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Cases, Coimbatore, dated 19.06.2017 in C.C.No.2 of 2011 and enlarge the petitioner on bail till the disposal of criminal appeal, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.
3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the sentence passed by the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Cases, Coimbatore, dated 19.06.2017 in C.C.No.2 of 2011, is suspended on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Cases, Coimbatore. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
trial Court on every first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
