Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorari to call for the records of the impugned order of the third respondent vide No.CHN/RO/TN/85392/CC-I (17) 2013 dated 22.04.20113 treating the petitioner's firm as a branch of the fourth respondent and the consequential order of the second respondent vide No.CHN/85392/PDC/Group 25/Reg1/2014 dated 30.10.2014 in so far as the levy of damages upon the petitioner's firm for the sum of Rs.100428 with reference to EPF for the period from April, 2012 to April 2013 and to quash the same.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up on 03.09.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence this Court ordered the matter to be listed under the caption "For dismissal" on 26.09..2024. When the matter is taken up today also there was no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 4 is present today. Hence, this Court is inclined to dismiss the petition for default.
