This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue an appropriate order, direction or writ, including a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to re-designate the post of Helper (Non-ITI) in the administrative wing of the respondent Corporation with effect from the date of appointment in the time-scale of pay and consider the names of the petitioners for further promotions taking into account their qualifications and seniority and in accordance with the Common Service Rules and direct the respondents to grant all consequential service benefits. For Petitioners : No appearance For Respondents : Mr.K.Moorthy (for R1 and R2)
O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to re-designate the post of Helper (Non-ITI) in the administrative wing of the respondent Corporation with effect from the date of appointment in the time-scale of pay and consider the names of the petitioners for further promotions taking into account their qualifications and seniority and in accordance with the Common Service Rules and direct the respondents to grant all consequential service benefits.
2. None appeared on behalf of the writ petitioner.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that already the relief sought for by the petitioners are granted by the respondents and hence, noting survives for further adjudication in this matter.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
