Respondent Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct cultural programme containing dance and music in evening on 28.04.2015 as part of Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple festival at Veruvedampalayam in Kundadam of Dharapuram Taluk of Tiruppur District by considering petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2015.

Heard Mr.N.Ponraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct cultural programme containing dance and music in evening on 28.04.2015 as part of Sri Maha Kaliamman Temple festival at Veruvedampalayam in Kundadam of Dharapuram Taluk of Tiruppur District by considering petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2015.
3.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking permission to conduct cultural programme on the eve of the temple festival. It appears that the petitioner's request is pending before the authority concerned and till date, no orders have been passed. If that is so, the petitioner has to pursue his representation before the authority https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
concerned as the respondent authority is the proper authority to consider as to whether such permission has to be granted him. Hence, no writ of mandamus as sought for, can be granted. However, this will not prevent the petitioner from pursuing his representation before the authority.
4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
