ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.03.2023 submitted to release all the retirement benefits of the petitioner in view of the regular retirement order, dated 19.02.2021 bearing Aa11/871/2021 passed by the 2nd respondent.
2.The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that originally, the petitioner was worked as Village Administrative Officer at Thottiyam and Thenchettiyandal villages in Kallakurichi district. The petitioner was suspended from the service on 24.02.2000 since he was arrested in a trap case by the Vigilance and Anti Corruption, thereafter, on 30.11.2005, the petitioner attained the age of superannuation and suspended from service under Rule 17(e) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services Rules. On 02.08.2017, the petitioner got acquittal in the trap case and he was allowed to retire from the service after completion of the departmental enquiry on 19.02.2021. Though he was allowed to retire from the service on 19.02.2021 itself, till Page No.2 of 4
now his retirement benefits have not been paid. Hence, seeks direction of this Court.
3.Considering the limited relief as sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
