Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal Appeal No.385 of 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence passed in Sessions Judge, Mahalir Court, Coimbatore dated 10.11.2015 passed in S.C.No.60 of 2014. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl. Appeal No.385 of 2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.STALIN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.SURYA PRAKASH Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahalir Court, Coimbatore, dated 10.11.2015 in Spl.C.C.No.60 of 2014 and enlarge the petitioner on bail till the disposal of criminal appeal, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.
3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the sentence passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahalir Court, Coimbatore, dated 10.11.2015 in Spl.C.C.No.60 of 2014, is suspended on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Mahalir Court, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Coimbatore. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on every first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
