With the consent on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for a issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 18.11.2013 seeking allotment of 5.16 acres of land comprised in S.Nos.46/1, 46/2 and 46/7 at Nolambur Village, Maduravoil Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
3. According to the petitioner, his father is the freedom fighter and certain proceedings were issued allotting the lands in favour of his father. However, formal order of assignment was not issued and therefore, now, the petitioner seeks for the formal order of assignment in his favour after demise of his father.
4. In the light of the above facts, no writ of mandamus as sought for by the petitioner can be granted more so when the petitioner's father is no more. Hence this Writ Petition is dismissed.
