Heard Mr.V.Kalaivani, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent. By consent of either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. Petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to correct the petitioner mother name as SUKESINY instead of JAYANTHI in the petitioner passport.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that suitable orders can be passed.

4. It is not in dispute that the name of the mother has been wrongly mentioned in the passport of the petitioner. It is also not in dispute that the petitioner had already given a representation on 30.01.2015 to the concerned authority.

5. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to correct the name of the mother as SUKESINY instead of JAYANTHI after verifying the original. The said exercise shall be completed by the respondent within a period of two weeks from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
