Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in relation to his property situate at Survey No.387/3, Mulvai Village, Arakonam Taluk, Vellore District admeasuring an extent of 3 acres based on petitioner's representation dated 04.09.2019.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 04.09.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta with respect to the subject properties.

2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents submitted that the third respondent has already fixed a date for an enquiry on 14.12.2020 at 11.00 A.M. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the third respondent has called the parties for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to conduct an enquiry after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and also other interested parties and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
