The Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission for making wide publicity through mike set and put up flex board and for conducting the hunger fast on 25.02.2016 at Anna Statue, Tiruchengode Town, Namakkal District condemning the Union Chairman.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the date fixed for conducting the hunger fast itself is over and hence, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.
