Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to reimburse the sum of Rs. 1,43,746/- ( One Lakh forty three thousand seven hundred and forty six rupees only) and pass orders.

ORDER

The petitioner who suffered from paralysis underwent treatment in SIMS Hospital, Vadapani and he incurred a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- towards the medical expenses which he has paid out of his pocket. The petitioner thereafter claimed reimbursement of the medical expenses in connection with his treatment before the 6th respondent.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the 6th respondent has paid only a sum of Rs.1,05,000/- and the balance amount of Rs.1,43,746/- has not yet been sanctioned to him.

3. Under these circumstances, the petitioner has sent a representation which has not invoked any response from the respondents.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 4th and 5th respondents to pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

5. This Writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
