issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2024 and revise the pension amount of the petitioner (PPO No.R0907137) as per Special Grade Pay with effect from 28.10.2005 and pay the arrears.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2024 and revise the pension amount of the petitioner as per the Special Grade Pay withe effect from 28.10.2005.
2. It is seen that the petitioner had received the Special Grade pay with effect from 28.10.2005 and the same was not taken into consideration while arriving at the quantum of the pension. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.
3. When the matter came up for admission, Mrs.Hema Muralikrishnan, Page No. 2 of 5
learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mrs.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the second to fifth respondents would submit that it is true that the petitioner has got Special Grade pay with effect from 28.10.2005 and therefore they will consider the representation in accordance with law and pass orders thereon.
3. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:- (i) The second and third respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner with reference to his representation dated 11.03.2024 for the purpose of revision of pension and pass orders on merits and accordingly send a revised proposal to the first respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(ii) No costs.
