3.The Inspector of Police, Mangalamedu Police Station, Mangalamedu, Perambalur District Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, direct the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2023 in accordance with law, by appoint a Special Investigating Committee to find out the real truth of the case in Crime Number 207 of 2019 on the file of Inspector of Police, Mangalamedu Police Station, Perambalur District, the 3rd respondent herein to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner wherein, the petitioner has sought for a Special Investigation Team to find out the real truth in Crime No.207 of 2019.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the 3rd respondent had already completed the investigation and a final report was filed and it was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur in C.C.No.34 of 2020. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the case was subsequently transferred and it is now pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kunnam.

3.In the light of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. It is left open to the petitioner to scrutinize the final report that has been filed and if he is aggrieved by the same, the petitioner can always workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
