JUDGMENT

The above civil miscellaneous appeal has been filed against the Judgment and Decree dated 03.06.2014 made in M.C.O.P.No.2044 of 2011 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (The Special Sub Court No.I), Salem.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 31.03.2022, the learned counsel for the appellant brought to the notice of this Court that the Respondent Insurance Company has filed a C.M.A.No.1673 of 2015, which has been settled before the Lok Adalat and further sought short accommodation to get instructions. Acceding to the same, this Court adjourned the matter to 07.04.2022.

3. Today(07.04.2022), when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions, submitted that as the matter is settled amicably https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

between the parties in the aforesaid Civil Miscellaneous Appeal filed by the Insurance Company before the Lok Adalat, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the appellant, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
