ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 793 days in filing the writ appeal against the order dated 16.09.2022 made in W.P.No.19965 of 2018.

2. Heard Mr.E.Veda Bagath Singh, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioner and Mr.K.N.Pandian, learned counsel for the sole respondent.

3. The delay is 793 days. By virtue of this long delay, certainly, some prejudice would have been caused to the respondent, who is the writ petitioner. Therefore, in order to compensate the same, we are inclined to allow this petition only on terms. Therefore, this petition is ordered on payment of Rs.5,000/- [Rupees Five Thousand Only], which shall be paid by the petitioner to the respondent through the learned counsel appearing for the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. On compliance of the aforesaid terms, the present petition is ordered.
