ORDER

The petitioner was removed from service by an order dated 28.02.2017. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner got injured has he was a judo player and therefore could not attend the duty. It is further submitted that though the petitioner has been discharged from service the department is utilizing his service for coaching the police Judo team. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under similar circumstances, an order came to be passed in W.P.No.15888 of 2019. It is submitted that by an order dated 28.08.2019, the respondents were directed to consider the case of the said Mr.G.Tamilarasan sympathetically. It is further submitted that the respondents have also reinstated Mr.G.Tamilarasan subsequently vide order dated 19.12.2019. 3.It is therefore submitted that the petitioner's case may be considered sympathetically. Considering the fact, that the petitioners absence from duty was the injuries sustained as a Judo player and considering the fact that the respondents are utilizing the service of the petitioner for training its officials, this Court is inclined to dispose this writ petition by directing the respondents to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2021 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is otherwise, meritorious, the case of the petitioner may be considered formally.

4.The respondents may give due weightage to the fact that the petitioner is continuing to assist the police department in coaching police officers and personnels.

5.This writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
