By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.Heard Mr.M.Arumugam, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The petitioner has come forward with the Writ Petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue the Legal heirship certificate for the death of her husband late T.Murugan on 19.10.2005, keeping in view of the status of the permanent resident of T.Nallalam Village and Post, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District at the time of accident and the death. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that sufficient time may be granted to the second respondent to conduct enquiry and issue the Legal heirship certificate to the petitioner.
5.In the light of the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry into the matter and consider the petitioner's claim on merits and in accordance with law for the purpose of issuing the Legal Heirship Certificate, on account the demise of her husband T.Murugan on 19.10.2005, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to co-operate in the enquiry to be conducted by the second respondent by producing the documents as called for.
