Heard Mr.D.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr..D.Suriya Narayanan, learned Government advocate appearing for the respondents. With the consent of either side the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The Petitioner seeks for Registration of the Decree passed by the Sub Court, Poonamallee in O.S.No.137 of 2010, which is a comprise decree dated 15.09.2010. The petitioner approached the 2nd respondent for registration, but, till date, the same has not been registered.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the Sub Registrar orally informed the petitioner that it is beyond four months time limit prescribed.

4.It is to be pointed out that the decree is a permanent record of the Court and therefore, there cannot be any limitation for registration of the said decree.

5.In the light of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to take into consideration the petitioner's request and process the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
