Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Art. 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records of the impugned order in Notification no. 9/2024 dated 26.07.2024 published on 22.05.2025 for Physical certificate Verification and counselling will be held on 29.05.2025 and 30.05.2025 at the office of the 2nd respondent, quash the same and further directed the 2 nd respondent to include the petitioner's registration No. 0701005085 in the Physical Certificate Verification and counselling.

ORDER

Challenging the impugned notification No.9 of 2024, dated 26.07.2024, the petitioner had filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Certiorarified Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to include the petitioner's registration No. 0701005085 in the Physical Certificate Verification and counselling.

2. According to the petitioner, as per the interim order passed by this court in W.P.No.8358 of 2025, his post was confirmed, however his registration number was not included in the impugned order of 2 nd respondent. But, several candidates scored below his rank are called for physical certificate verification and counselling. Though the petitioner scored better rank and waiting for more than seven years, he was not called for physical certificate verification. Hence, he filed this Writ Petition.

3. Considering the fact that though the petitioner has scored better rank and waiting for more than seven years, he was not called for physical certificate verification and counselling scheduled to be conducted on 29.05.2025 and 30.05.2025 and he cannot be deprived of participating in the said process. In the above circumstances, the 2 nd respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to participate in the process of physical certificate verification and counselling. 3/6

4. In the result, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
