The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120(B), 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.32 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with her husband both acted upon Central Government Ruling Party State Schedule Wing Secretary and thereby having influence from the State Government Authorities. Further, the petitioner along with her husband had received a sum of Rs.3,68,95,000/- from the defacto complainant and cheated him. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner has not received any amount from the defacto complainant. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner along with her husband had received the money from the defacto complainant for more than Rs.3 Crores. He further submitted that the investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of this petition.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has involved in serious offence and also considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
