PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records, relating to petitioner's son detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 04.05.2025 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings C3/D.O.No.11/2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's son namely Thiruppathi, aged 23 years, son of Srinivasan before this High Court and set him at Liberty, now petitioner's son detained at Central Prison, Vellore. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3555, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 19.06.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
