ORDER

(1) The challenge in this writ petition is to the Notification issued by the Mines Department of the Office of the District Collector, Krishnagiri, calling for tenders for the right to quarry rough stones from certain lands situate in the District.

(2) The petitioner claims to be interested in S.No.73 of Ettikal Agaram Village. The Notification is dated 11.02.2016. (3) The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that since there was no interim order in the writ petition, auction was held and the newly impleaded party/2nd respondent herein is the successful bidder and he has been quarrying stone for the past six and half years. Therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous. (4) Recording the said statement, the writ petition is dismissed as 2/4

having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
