PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent pass final order in Na.Ka.A2/2697/2025 dated 28.03.2025 under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules pending on the file of 1st Respondent by considering petitioners representation dated 21.04.2026 within a stipulated time period fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Seeking to direct the 1st respondent to pass final order in Na.Ka.No.A2/2697/2025 dated 28.03.2025 under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, pending on the file of the 1st respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2026, this writ petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made several representations in this regard on 17.04.2025, 18.08.2025 and the last of which was made on 21.04.2026, despite the same, the disciplinary proceedings which has been initiated against the petitioner, is kept pending without disposal.

3. Considering the nature of dispute involved, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2026 and further he is directed to pass final orders in Na.Ka.No.A2/2697/2025 dated 28.03.2025, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
