O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR pending on the file of the 1st respondent. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur, on 31.05.2023 and the same is yet to be taken on file.

In the light of the above development, there is no scope for interfering with the FIR at this stage. There shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police within a period of six weeks. If ultimately, the final report is taken on file as against the petitioner and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner 2/5

to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 4.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
