College, for the Five Year integrated B.A. LL.B. Degree Course under Management Quota on Medical grounds based on the proceedings of the 1st Respondent in C.No.2376/Regr/Acad/A5/2026 dated 06.05.2026 within a time frame fixed by this Court and consequently permit the petitioner to continue his studies in the 3rd Respondent college and pass orders. ORDER

Seeking to consider the petitioner's application / representation dated 06.05.2026, with regard to hIS transfer from 2nd respondent Law College to 3rd respondent Law College and to admit him in the five year integrated B.A., L.L.B., Degree Course under Management Quota on medical grounds in the 3rd respondent College, based on the proceedings of the first respondent in C.No.2376/Regr/Acad/A5/2026 dated 06.05.2026, this writ petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a law student who is pursuing his 4th year in Five Year B.A.L.L.B., Degree Course in the 2nd respondent-College. On account of his health condition, the petitioner had submitted his application before the first respondent-Law University on 06.05.2025 seeking to transfer from the 2nd respondent-Law College to 3rd respondent Law-College, to enable him to

pursue his final year study of B.A.L.L.B., degree course in 3rd respondent - Law College. The petitioner's representation was considered by the first respondent. who vide his proceedings dated 06.05.2026, had addressed the 2nd and 3rd respondents to furnish a "No Objection Certificate" with regard to petitioner's proposed transfer.

The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent drew my attention to the Extracts Minutes of 195th Meeting of the Syndicate of the 1st respondentLaw University dated 02.08.2025, wherein the Syndicate had approved to follow the guidelines framed for the transfer of students from one Private Law College to another Private Law College (except Central Law College, Salem, since the admission of the candidates it not dealt with by the University) either admitted under the Government Quota or Management Quota.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also drew my attention to the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.48912 of 2025 dated 28.01.2026, where a student from Central Law College, Salem was permitted to be transferred to KMC College of Law, Tiruppur, the 3rd respondent herein. In view of the same, pointing out that the petitioner is suffering from spine ailments, the petitioner has sought indulgence of this Court to consider his transfer.

Considering the health condition of the petitioner, this Court deems it necessary to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application seeking transfer from 2nd respondent-Law College to 3rd respondent-Law College. Accordingly, the 2nd respondent is directed to issue a 'No Objection' for the petitioner's transfer to 3rd respondent-College, to enable him to join the 3rd respondent College and to purse his final year study of B.A.L.L.B., degree course. On receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent College is directed to admit the petitioner in his College in the final year. In case, if the petitioner is found to have any arrears in B.A.L.L.B., degree subjects from I year to IV year, it is made clear that the petitioner will re-write the examination of the arrear subjects. The entire exercise shall be concluded within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
