PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the trial Court to expedite the trial in C.C No.212 of 2017, on the file of the learned Additional Mahila Judge, Egmore, Chennai within the time as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

2. Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court (incharge), Egmore has sent a report. It is seen from the report that the learned Judge is holding additional charge of the Mahila Court and he is only sitting on every Thursday and taking up the cases pertaining to the Additional Mahila Court. The learned Judge has sought for some time to dispose of the cases.

3. This petition has been filed for a direction to the Court below to complete the proceedings within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, (Incharge) is directed to take up the case on every Thursday, till a regular Judge is appointed in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Court. The learned Judge shall make all attempts to complete the proceedings within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
