By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he joined the service as night Watchman in the Annai Sathya Memorial Government Children Home on 21.12.1981, which is under the control of the second respondent. Subsequently, his services were regularised and he attained the age of superannuation on 30.06.2014. Since his terminal benefits were not paid, he made a representation dated 02.04.2015 to the first respondent. Since there was no response, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Mahesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the second respondent by enclosing a copy of this order as well as copy of the relevant records, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent, on receipt of the same, are directed to consider the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks therefrom and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
