O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 14.03.2020 wherein the petitioner has requested the respondent to pass the final award under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

2. Heard Mr.S.Natarajan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.K.Parameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 14.03.2020 and pass final award strictly in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
