ORDER

Heard Mr.Karan and Uday, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on her representation dated 12.01.2015. The said representation is for grant of patta. The petitioner obtained the property in question from one Krishnaveniammal, by way https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of settlement deed, dated 27.1.2005, vide document No.549 of 2005. From that date onwards, it is the case of the petitioner that she has been in possession and the encumbrance certificate also reflects her name. The petitioner has also constructed a house in the said property and is paying house tax and electricity charges. With these facts, the petitioner has approached the respondents for grant of patta and till date no orders have been passed. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition..

3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2015; take note of all the documents produced and pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
