This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2023.

2. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondent notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

It is the case of the petitioner that she has completed her engineering course in the year 2017 by securing first class in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Erode by selecting course of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, for which, she applied for educational loan from the respondent bank and the respondent Bank sanctioned a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- as educational loan and the said amount was credited to the petitioner's Bank account. After settling certain amount to the respondent Bank, in order to settle the remaining due, the petitioner made a representation dated 14.06.2023 to the respondent. She also seeks waiver of interest. Since the said representation was not considered by the respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised in the above writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2023 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. On the above contentions heard learned counsel appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.06.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
