"The petitioner is directed to make a non-refundable deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) directly to the credit of Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Campus, Chennai, without prejudice to the right of the defence before the Trial Court and the receipt shall be produced at the time of executing the bond" in Crl.O.P.No. 7861 of 2026, dated 27.03.2026 on the file of this Court in Crime No. 437 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the condition imposed against the petitioner in Paragraph No. (c) of the order dated 27.03.2026 directing him to make a non-refundable deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) directly to the credit of Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Campus, Chennai, without prejudice to the right of the defence before the Trial Court and the receipt shall be produced at the time of executing the bond in Crl.O.P.No. 7861 of 2026, dated 27.03.2026 on the file of this Court in Crime No. 437 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police.
2.After hearing both side submissions, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed against the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7861 of 2026, vide order dated 27.03.2026, wherein, the relevant Paragraph No.7(c) of the order is modified hereunder:- "7(c).that the petitioner is directed to make a non-refundable deposit of Rs.50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand Only] directly to the credit of Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Campus, Chennai, without prejudice to the right of the defence before the Trial Court and the receipt shall be
produced at the time of executing the bond.
(ii) The payment shall be deposited on or before 15.06.2026.
3.The rest of the conditions imposed against the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7861 of 2026, vide order dated 27.03.2026 shall remain unaltered. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered to the above extent.
