O R D E R

The relief sought in the present writ petition is to direct the third respondent to complete the inquiry for issuance of free patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the subject property.

2. The Revenue Divisional Officer has passed an order against which the revision petition was preferred before the District Revenue Officer Thiruvarur. The said Revision Petition filed by the fourth respondent, on 20.04.2023, is pending before the District Revenue Officer.

3. During the pendency of the writ petition, the order already passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer cannot be implemented. Thus, the District Revenue Officer, Thiruvarur shall proceeded with inquiry by affording opportunity to all the parties and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. Thereafter, the parties are at liberty to initiate appropriate actions in accordance with law. 2/4

4. Accordingly writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
