The petitioner, who apprehends arrest in the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS previously known 294(b), 324, 506(ii) IPC in connection with the case in Crime No.not known of 2026, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that no case has been registered against the petitioner, however, C.S.R.No.1281 of 2026 is pending.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in the aforesaid C.S.R in accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
