Prayer: Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to act in terms of Section 32(O) of the Wakf Act, 1995, pursuant to the representation dated 13.08.2012 made by the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.8.2012, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame specified by this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, the respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner, dated 13.8.2012, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as the other persons concerned, if https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

any. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 13.8.2012, to the respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
