Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.01.2015 in accordance with law within the time to be stipulated by this Court. For Petitioner :

ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Mohamed Ansar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.P.Sasikumar, learned counsel accepting notice for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition itself is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to direct the respondents to consider her representation dated 01.01.2015 within the time to be stipulated by this Court. 3.The petitioner's case is that she hails from a poor family and that she is blessed with two children. It is her further case that her second child was born on 09.06.2012 and the petitioner's name was registered in the Family Register and Maternity Preventive Card

Register maintained by the Village Health Nurse, Thiyagadurgam and a Card, viz., Mother-Child Protection Card was also issued by the Village Health Nurse. The petitioner would further state that the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.276 dated 03.11.2011, has increased the financial assistance to the poor pregnant women from Rs.6000/- to Rs.12,000/- under the Scheme, namely Dr.Muthulakshmi Reddy Benefit Scheme. The said financial assistance was proved to the poor women on the recommendation of the Village Health Nurse concerned. Since the petitioner was eligible under the said scheme to get the said financial assistance, she submitted her Bank Passbook and other relevant documents to the Village Health Nurse concerned and as no action was initiated, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 01.01.2015 to the respondents. As no orders have been passed on the said representation till date, the petitioner, having no other alternative remedy, has approached this Court by way of filing this writ petition.

4.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.01.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
