ORDER

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and the same is granted.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that there are totally three accused in this case and all the three accused are working in the SRO office, Kallakurichi. The petitioner and the other accused persons have removed finger print index register from the SRO office, which was verified and the petitioners were the identified persons after going through the CCTV records and other contemporary documents. The complaint has been lodged and the petitioner and other accused have absconded. He further submitted that the finger print index register record is the basis and foundational document to confirm the genuineness and transaction about the documents registered in the SRO office. The removal of finger print index register is for a larger conspiracy to commit other offences. The finger print index register has been recovered, but it was found with some tampering and the same has to be verified along with the record sheets. He further submitted that

the anticipatory bail application against A1 and A2 was dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.15106 of 2025 dated 23.06.2025 and Crl.O.P.No.14773 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025 and now the Superintendent of Police, Kallakurichi had formed a special team to apprehend the accused in this case.
